Adjunct Faculty, Division of Science and Mathematics - Physics

McKendree University’s Division of Science and Mathematics is seeking a highly qualified candidate to develop Physics I and II lecture and lab courses in the online, 8-week format. The candidate will build weekly modules containing appropriate reading, video-lecture, course activities, homework, and web-based lab activities within a course-shell in Brightspace. Online teaching experience with strong student or peer-evaluations is required; experience teaching college physics is preferred. The successful candidate will have, at minimum, a Master’s degree in physics or a graduate degree in a closely related field with 18 graduate hours in physics.  

McKendree University is a private university located in the historic city of Lebanon, Illinois, 25 minutes from downtown St. Louis.  With a total enrollment of over 2,500 students, McKendree offers undergraduate and graduate programs on campus, online, and at off-site locations in Southern Illinois and Kentucky.
