About the Occupational Therapy Major

Our B.S. in Occupational Therapy is part of a five-year cooperative 3+2 program, in which students spend their first three years at McKendree and final two years at Washington University’s School of Medicine. Once you meet all requirements for the major, including one year in the Occupational Therapy program at Washington University, you’ll earn your bachelor’s degree from McKendree. By completing one more year of graduate work, you’ll earn a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Washington University.

Occupational Therapy majors pursuing their master’s degree must complete at least 30 hours of volunteer time in an Occupational Therapy related setting.
