Online Cyber Defense Degree
Students in the cyber defense major have the opportunity to gain knowledge and develop
skills related to the protection of information and intellectual property in the public
and private sector. Courses in this major align with the guidelines suggested by the
National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE), which focus on security provisioning,
operating and maintaining, and overseeing and governing information and intellectual
property.

Flexible Online Course Format
Online classes are delivered using the course management system Brightspace. All online
courses for the BBA are offered over an eight week period. Many students choose to
take two courses during each eight week session.
