Lifelong Learning
The opportunity to gain valuable leadership skills is possible in a fraternity or
sorority! Members of our community not only lead one another within their own organizations
through weekly meetings, planning social and service events; they also represent a
large demographic of the emerging/advanced leadership programs and have studied aboard
through the Office of Student Development.
Our members are also involved across campus in everything from: Student Ambassadors,
Student Government Association, Resident Assistants/Community Coordinators, Campus
Activity Board (CAB), New Student Orientation Leaders/Peer Mentors, Student Illinois
Education Association, Rotaract, Debate and Speech Team, Green Team, Alpha Phi Omega,
Alpha Psi Omega, Lacrosse, Color Guard, Dance Team, Basketball, Golf, McKendree Review
staff to name a few.
Members have attended local and national leadership retreats, officer academies, and
conventions. This past spring students attended the Association of Fraternal Leadership
& Values Conference (AFLV).
