Associate Provost

Photo of Dr. Alan AlewineThe primary goal of McKendree University is to be an exceptional teaching institution. To that end, we offer one associate degree, over 50 bachelor’s degree programs, ten master’s degree programs, two specialist degrees, and two doctoral degrees. Each of our bachelor’s degrees is anchored in a broad general education curriculum that enhances each student's intellectual experience. We regularly update our curriculum to ensure that it meets the needs and interests of students.

As Associate Provost, I chair the Undergraduate and Graduate Councils, which oversee the entire McKendree curriculum; edit both the Undergraduate and Graduate Catalogs; coordinate the academic program review process; and work closely with faculty to deliver a high quality educational experience to all of our students.

For more information about the curriculum at McKendree University, please contact Dr. Alan Alewine, Associate Provost and Professor of Mathematics, at [email protected].
